Thoughts on Marriage

With the recent vote on marriage in North Carolina, and the upcoming vote on the “redefinition of marriage” in the PC(USA), I thought I’d share some links with you to some reading I’ve been doing on the issue lately.

Five Reasons Christians Should Continue to Oppose Gay Marriage – A blog article by Pastor Kevin DeYoung.  While not making a Biblical arguement per se, he does argue from a Christian worldview.

Two Views of Marriage – Here is a longer article from Theology Matters.  Thorough, Biblical, pastoral, and very helpful.

What is Marriage? – Another edition of Theology Matters.

This Momentary Marriage – John Piper.  The link here will take you to a free pdf copy of the book.  I’d encourage you to watch the accompanying video below.
